Description
Provia 100F RDP III is often regarded as one of the finest slide films ever made: extremely sharp with smooth grain, neutral colour and beautiful tonality. Even as an expired, cold‑stored roll, it retains much of that character while adding a slight unpredictability and charm.
Because this batch expired in 2015 but has been kept cold, you can generally shoot it at box speed without compensation. Expect strong detail, clean highlights and rich but not overly saturated colour — especially in skies and skin tones.
BEST RESULTS
- Rate at EI 100; if you want extra safety, overexpose by 1/3–2/3 stop
- Process in E‑6 for true slide positives
- Works best in controlled daylight or open shade with even light
- Recommended for experienced shooters comfortable with narrow slide‑film latitude
